From the springs at Greywell to the confluence with the Blackwater, the Whitewater runs through seven parishes. These are the councils that shape what happens along its banks, and the places to make your voice heard.
Planning applications are decided by Hart District Council, but parish councils are consulted on every one of them, and they listen to residents. If a proposal worries you, your parish council is the fastest place to start.

Odiham Parish Council
Encompasses North Warnborough, through which the River Whitewater flows past Odiham Castle.
Hook Parish Council
Hook village is bounded on its eastern side by the picturesque valley of the River Whitewater.
Hartley Wintney Parish Council
The River Whitewater forms the western boundary of the parish.
Rotherwick Parish Council
The River Whitewater forms the eastern boundary of the parish.
