The Hampshire branch of the Campaign to Protect Rural England, working to keep the county rural and beautiful and reporting regularly on planning matters across North East Hampshire.
No one protects a river alone. These are the organisations we work alongside (wildlife trusts, catchment partnerships, preservation societies and campaign groups), all with a stake in the future of the Whitewater.

Many of the pressures on the Whitewater (abstraction, run-off, and development along the valley) reach far beyond our patch. We share evidence, objections and expertise with these groups, and we'd encourage you to follow their work too.

A chalkstream fly fishing club on the River Whitewater in North East Hampshire, with a close and practical interest in the health of the river and its wild trout.

Manages several Sites of Special Scientific Interest along the Whitewater Valley, including Greywell Fens, Warnborough Greens and the woodlands of Hook Common and Bartley Heath.

Protects and enhances the character and appearance of Hartley Wintney, in particular its Conservation Areas, Listed Buildings and common land.

A voluntary group of individuals, clubs, businesses and organisations that represents and coordinates fisheries, angling and conservation interests throughout the Loddon catchment.

The Long Sutton solar farm action group, formed around the principle that renewable energy should not come at the cost of Hampshire’s rural landscape.
